Pictures that I have been meaning to put up.

The girls saying goodbye to Dad as he leaves on the men's retreat. The joys of living downtown and parking on the street in Autlan. A nice rock got thrown through the back window.

Aletta loves doing puzzles. Here are the girls eating some plantains from our own back yard.

Fresh fruit right in your own back yard. Baby Daniel just after getting his diaper changed.

Decorating the Christmas tree for Christmas. Mom putting the some decorations on the top of the tree.

Everyone has to try to put the star on top of the tree. Anna first than Lilly.

Last but not least Aletta, who actually got it straight!

Thanksgiving at our house. Everyone can fit at the table. The kids are gone playing all over the place.

I want to hold it, pet it, love it and call it George! (Baby chicken in the chicken coop). Aletta and Lilly in a big jumping bounce house. Cheese!

A couple of pictures of the girls

Anna is getting big. She surprises me every time I try to pick her up, she is growing so fast. These are the tap shoes Grandma sent to the girls, they had to tap on a stage with them on.

Lilly absolutely loves to hold little puppies. Hi Dad, can I see the picture?

Here we got Lilly with the chickens, which she absolutely loves to carry them around and feed them. Today she put one of them in to the swimming pool because she thought that it would like to take a bath.

Here is one of Aletta holding Daniel for the first time. Daniel wasn't the happiest of campers that day. But since that time Daniel has grown leaps and bounds.

Our house, chickens and Lillian's birthday

Ok, first I want to apologize for taking such a long time to post these. I loaded them on Sunday but since that time I was unable to sit down and finish them. For those of you who don't know we have moved. The house we are in now is only two blocks away from La Roca. It is an older house that needs some fixing up but we have felt it has great potential to really being a great looking house. Here are some of the first pictures we took. The first is from our back yard that has all kinds of fruits and vegetables. This one is a banana tree.

This one is a vegetable called Chiote. It is like a potato if you have never had one. The other one is our avocado tree, which give us avocados every day or every other day. We love this.

This one is just of our back yard. It has a nice grass area for the girls to play in. It has a lot of work before we can really start enjoying it. Work I mean get rid of any areas where bugs and scorpions can hide. We have also enjoyed fresh coconut from our big palm tree.

This is just after you walk in the front door. This is what you see. The door in the middle is our kitchen and dining room. The second is of our patio area which we think will be the place we are the most. We already have spent most mornings drinking our coffee in the morning.

This is the view to our backyard. So it goes way back there.

This is a view from one of our roofs. We are one the same road as the main bull ring in town. There is a lot of concerts on the weekends, but so far there hasn't been any.

Here is a few picture of us replacing the bamboo in our bathroom.
Jessie is patching some holes in the walls.

Needless to say when you have the room why not fill it with things that will give you something back. They use to raise pigs here so there are four pig pens. One has been turned into a hen house. Jessie has been reading up on how to raise chickens. It is a great oppertunity to have the girls learn about how to raise chickens. These are the first eggs that they laid. We have 11 chickens and one rooster.

I liked Anna's face in this one. She is holding Aeriel, Norma and Carlos's new baby.

These two were taken in Guadalajara. It rained and there was a lot of water. You have to love the motorcycle trying to drive through it. You can see that much water can cause some trouble for some people.

Lillian's birthday was a great secess. She loved opening her presents from her Grandparents. Her favorite was the grocery cart that she can shop with her sisters at their store.

Here is our new dog Boston. We know what your are saying A poodle??? We checked it out on the internet that Poodles are very smart dogs and they are very good at obeying. We have enjoyed having him in our home. He is very different in many good ways than our previous dog Denver.

Long shots

Thanks to the great camera that Mom and Dad (Weaks) got us while our other one was not able to be used. We have some cool features on this one. This picture is three different pictures of the street La Roca is on. I just happen to go up on the roof to fix something and thought it might look cool. I think I need practice to get it perfect but I think it still looks cool.

This one is of a side street our house is on.

Picture update

I was able to load some pictures on Sunday. Lately our internet connection hasn't been the greatest. We think it is because kids are back in school, they get done with school and head to the nearest internet cafes. Around 4 PM it is the worst. Any way I wanted to put some pictures on here to give you a little update as to what we have been up to.

With Dad's old personal computer, I have been able to write my sermons without using the laptop when Jessie has things to do. My mom sent some kids programs. We though we would let Anna try it. Well every day now she is asking to play the computer which is fine with us. It is all educational games. She has been really enjoying it.

Needless to say our Anna is growing up.

The other day I went up the mountain near our house to do some praying. The next day I asked Jessie if she wanted to go with the girls. She said yes and so we asked the girls if they wanted to go. They all yelled YES!!! So we went up the mountain. John didn't believe that the girls did it. So we shot him a few pictures. Here they are.

The girls love puzzles, even Lilly. Here, Aletta is trying out her new puzzles she got for her birthday. Lilly wanted to help.

'

Here is Jessie and the girls waiting in front of La Roca for me to bring the car up along with Akati, who is Norma and Carlos' daughter.

Anna figured out how to climb on the monkey bars.

Six kid sitting in a row. Everyone smile. Come on, George, is that all you got?

Cooking tamales in Illinois with the family.

She is the prettiest woman I know!!

Aletta sitting with Aunt Connie in Illinois.

Hey Grandpa! I am glad your garden is growing so well.
Looks like it is going to be a good year for garden veggies.

Here are two pictures I took at the park. I thought they were cool.
